tout terrain products have been around since 2004. That is not long. However, alongside the company founder and idea generator Oliver Römer a number of additional experts work in development at and for tout terrain, who enjoy massive recognition from insiders.
Using leading-edge design methods we have transformed the ideas and experiences of these people into real and reliable products.
Quality everywhere
The frame is the basis of a high quality bike, although the components are also of central importance to constantly smooth and reliable travel. tout terrain therefore uses high quality brand name components. All tout terrain frames are prepared for the application of disc brakes as standard, whilst the complete bikes are equipped with these. We consider disc brakes to be the best braking system because there is no braking on the bearing parts, the wheels, and the braking capacity and therefore your safety in the wet is considerably better than with calliper brakes.
Designed in Germany - Made in Europe
Think globally – act locally! This phrase from the 70’s has even more validity today. We attempt to meet with our responsibility for sustainability and produce the majority of our products in Europe. Alongside the assembly of our children’s trailers and bikes we also produce all bike frames in the EU. We also try, wherever economically viable, to procure parts from suppliers in the EU. However, we cannot be fully detached from the globalised world and many components do originate from Asian regions.
