For 2011 the PLAY has had a complete revision of the design, which has expanded its variety of use significantly. With input from our team riders we h...ave succeeded in developing a full suspension bike which we have turned into an ultimate multi functional tool, perfect for dirtjump, slopestyle as well as a trailbike. The core of this extraordinary bike is its hydro-formed frame with an extremely low top tube and a low bottom bracket. The four-link rear construction with 130-100mm travel matches the new Rock Shox Argyle RCT fork with 140-100mm travel (internally adjustable) perfectly. As an extra goodie, we are adding the Turn Coat from Rock Shox. With this, the front brake cable can be guided through the steering tube (D.I.Y mounting!). The ROMP is our extremely variable and lightweight aluminum hardtail for dirtjump and 4X. It is the main working tool of our teamriders Niki Leitner... and Tobi Wrobel, and both were intensely involved in the development of this bike. The 2011 revise of the design increased the wheelbase, thus making a stretch of the chain in the single-speed operation possible. We have managed, in the form of a new tube construction, which includes a re-engineered hydro-formed bottom tube, to reduce the frame weight with 2.2 kg. The Romp comes equipped with a Marzocchi Dirtjumper 1 suspension fork, Avid Juicy 3 disc brakes and SRAM X9 gear shifting system, all of this with a total weight of only 13.2 kg!
