The ROMP is our extremely variable and lightweight aluminum hardtail for dirtjump and 4X. It is the main working tool of our teamriders Niki Leitner... and Tobi Wrobel, and both were intensely involved in the development of this bike. The 2011 revise of the design increased the wheelbase, thus making a stretch of the chain in the single-speed operation possible. We have managed, in the form of a new tube construction, which includes a re-engineered hydro-formed bottom tube, to reduce the frame weight with 2.2 kg. The Romp comes equipped with a Marzocchi Dirtjumper 1 suspension fork, Avid Juicy 3 disc brakes and SRAM X9 gear shifting system, all of this with a total weight of only 13.2 kg!
