The bikes of the ZR Team series are the allrounders among the Hardtails. Broad Riser handlebars provide much overview and control. A 100mm spring travel at the front permits a broad field of application and offers a lot of reserve in difficult terrain. The triple-butted Alu 7005 frame with an oval-shaped load-capable down tube and a gusset on the fork stem is made for stability and a long-life cycle. The rear end of the bike was completely overhauled in 2010. Thinner seat stays without a canti socket add more comfort through a more flexible load bearing capacity during vertical pressure and bring about a weight reduction of 150g simultaneously. At the same time, the adapted chain stays make sure that the high torsional rigidity of the ZR Team frame is retained.

Since 2000 AZUB has been developing only recumbent bikes and as a brand it is pretty well known as a producer of durable recumbents which are ready fo...r use in the most difficult conditions which can appear not only on expeditions around the world but also in the city while commuting. In spring 2009 we started to develop a trike which would fit into our line of recumbents and which would offer all the advantages as our other bikes, like the IPS – Ideal Position System, durability, good design and perfect ergonomy. At the moment we are working on two different trike projects which we suppose to introduce during the year 2010 when AZUB will celebrate 10 years of recumbent experience. The first one should fit into our ECO line of basic recumbents with affordable price, good quality components and good comfort. We suppose a price around 1700 EUR.

The Spire carbon frame has been completely newly developed. The octagon tube shape in combination with the modern monocoque style provides the opportu...nity to combine rigidity and comfort like no other material. Therefore, the frame is very rigid thanks to a special treatment in the steering and bottom bracket areas. At the same time, the sit and chain stays promote vertical Flex which increases the comfort aspect. Radon's new atomic weapon for the 2010 season is called Skeen. The hydro-modelled frame features in the league of the lightest marathon frames and is ...extremely rigid thanks to the Syntace X-12 axle and the Tapered head tube with a 1.5" diameter for the lower bearing shell. Our design team under Bodo Probst gave the completely new design not only an optical "fast design" but also taut kinematics typical for marathons. With a modern spring travel of 115cm, the Skeen nevertheless offers ample reserves in order to leave its competitors trailing behind downhill.

The bikes of the RPS series were specially developed for beginners and hobby racers by our designer Bodo Probst. They distinguish themselves by a robu...st double-butted frame on which the attention was focused on a long life cycle and an uncomplicated handling. The geometry is comfortable and suitable for touring in order to meet up with the needs of this target group. The new frame has a higher rigidity thanks to a new set of tubes with a gradient top tube and a wall thickness with a good load-bearing capacity. Other advantages of the new geometry include more step freedom and more comfort through the long seat post. We coud achieve additional comfort with the new Flex-Stay body rear end. The R-1 serie impressively proves that first-class racing bikes can also be constructed without using carbon. The triple-butted aluminium 7005 frame i...mpresses by first-class rigidity-values, low weight and lively performance. A new superlight-set of tubes made of triple-butted aluminium 7005 reduces the weight by keeping the rigidity at the same high level, the upper tube drops down by 3 cm for all frame sizes. Also new is the "Press-Fit" bottom bracket cage, which lifts the bottom bracket's rigidity to a new level. In order to increase the comfort, we have developed a new rear body made of flex-stay supports, which is able to absorb vertical impacts without losing the torsional rigidity. With its sportive geometry, excellent rigidity-values and its low weight, this represents R-1 dynamics, efficiency and riding pleasure - just what makes racing by bike so fascinating!

The Opus3 is a seperate module, developed by Altena-bike to transfer almost any ordinary bike into a a safe and stable trike. The experience we hav...e acquired in working with stainless steel has enabled us to develop this product at a reasonable cost. The module exists of a stainless steel frame, that can easily be adapted to any bike with a normal backhub (i.e. a Nexus 8) Extra stability is achieved by adding two Stainless rods that run from the side to a clamp just underneath the seatpost.
